The London Men’s Collections featured some of the top tier designers showcasing their masculine talents in shows from Nicholas Kirkwood to Jonathan Saunders. The men were Adonis- beautiful, the attendees were fashionably fabulous and the least important factor in the shows seemed to be masculinity itself. From the babes featured on the runway, to the inhuman designs being shown, menswear has taken a step outside of the world of bow ties and bowler hats. Here are some of our favorite looks!
Koosh Balls and Killers at Sibling
Monsters stalked the runway at Sibling this season with full facial coverings that resembled our weirdest childhood toys and gothic regalia that would put Tim Burton to shame.
SooJoo Park for Moschino
The Jeremy Scott Moschino show had so many ladies on the runway that it was hard to remember that it was Men’s Fashion Week. We especially loved SooJoo’s exotic dreadlocked hair and oversized graphic tees as she walked the runway along side the guys.
Femininity at JW Anderson
At JW Anderson, it was strictly guys on the runway, only they were wearing well…. Dresses. Looks like menswear for women has been flipped upside down. What do you think guys? New trend?
Lindsey Wixson for McQueen
By far the best moment of the entire Men’s Fashion Week was Lindsey Winxson’s butterfly filled opening for the Alexander McQueen show. Just goes to show, even when it’s men’s week, women rule.
