This weekend marked the 32nd annual Brooklyn mermaid festival in Coney Island. The annual celebration of sex and scales crowned Mayor Bill DeBlasio’s kids Chiara and Dante as King Neptune and Queen mermaid. The city’s First Children took the honor seriously by going all out in their sea creature inspired costumes, and they, of course, fit right in! Didn’t attend the parade?
