Plus size model and all around babe Robyn Lawley photographed her own amazing swim line. She talks to us about how it’s dedicated to creating products for the curvier woman and what she’s up to this Miami Swim Week.

What made you want to start a swim line?
I was struggling to find a supportive swimsuits/bikinis that were cool, young and fashion forward. I would often have to wear underwear to the beach so the line was built out of pure necessity. I originally had sketched some designs when I was 18 as this has always been a problem for me so its great to finally have swimwear that fits.
What is your inspiration behind this collection?
I wanted this collection to be very unique to make the buyer feel special on the beach or in the pool. The fabrics are very luscious and the cuts are very flattering. Shape and design are the most important features and we really fit on a number of different bodies to obtain the greatest cuts that offer the most support.
What should all full figure women have this summer?
First of all, confidence :), if you feel confident and happy you will feel so much better at the beach, also buying your true size not trying to fit a smaller size after all its just a number.
Favorite piece from this collection:
That’s tricky I definitely love our black scuba series and our lip print is unreal. We just started to do awesome cover ups like kaftans and summer pants that match the swimwear so its great to be able to go from beach straight out onto the street.
What are your Miami swim week plans?
I want to meet as many people as I can, get feedback and hopefully new retails stores interested in our brand. I’m also djing as my alias ROBELLE so it should be a fun week.
