This past weekend our online editor Frankie Decaiza Hutchinson with friends Christine Tran & Emma Burgess-Olson put on a two day women’s techno DJ festival DISCWOMAN at the Bossa Nova Civic Club in Bushwick. 12 DJs all contribute their time as a means to donate to young women’s charity The Sadie Nash Leadership Project. It was nothing short of a great time and raised a discussion about women in the electronic music scene.
