No one dare covers Adele and gets away with it…except maybe, Aretha Franklin. The 73-year-old singer covered “Rolling in the Deep” and reminded us that no one can ever replace the Queen of Soul. After an assortment of complicated health issues, which prohibited her from performing, Aretha Franklin will release her first new album in three years. Greats like Adele owe it to Aretha for paving the way for talented and dynamic female vocalist/songwriters.
