Kylie Jenner ruined my life. I cannot get my hands on a MAC Velvet Teddy lipstick and it’s all her fault. Whenever I go to MAC, I hope and pray that it will miraculously be in stock, but no avail. The last time I was there, the sales lady actually told me I could buy the tester. PSHH! As if I’m desperate enough to shell out $20 on a cootie infested lipstick with less than a full twist of color left? Maybe I did, maybe I didn’t… doesn’t matter. The point of this vent session is to bring to light the fact that this lipstick draught is because every girl who follows the Kult of Kardashian on Instagram wants to snag Kylie’s casual, yet sophisticated, yet sexy — makeup look. The backbone of the look? My go to lipstick. I’m left lusting after the perfect beigey-purple-reddish lipstick and wondering if my makeup collection can ever be considered complete without Velvet Teddy. Meanwhile, Kylie Jenner looks perfect.
