Which NYC sophisticate is the envy of all style stalkers this NYFW? Kesha, that’s who. The last time we saw Kesha, she had multi colored hair and was catching flack for wearing a feathered headdress at Coachella. She dropped off our radar for so long that we almost didn’t recognize her at this week’s NYFW shows. Mamma has grown up, let go of the crazy get ups and the dollar sign in the middle of her name, but thankfully she’s kept a hint of glitter and basically looks like the Blonds Barbie dream. Her new look is a hint of Mary Kate Olsen with those round sunnies, maxi dresses and middle parted hair, but more fitted and feminine. The new and improved Kesha and her sleek ensembles have graced more front rows than anyone (except Anna Wintour herself, obviously). Her transformation from HAWT mess to Queen of Elegence means our eyes are glued to Kesha instead of the runway where they should rightfully be.
