According to the Hollywood Reporter, Azealia Bank’s latest feature will be of a different variety— full length, that is. She’s set to star in Doesn’t Have To Rhyme, where she’ll play a college student interested in poetry, then drawn into the world of slam poetry. Comparisons have been drawn to 8 Mile, but we’re confident that Azealia will be in a class of her own, as per usual. That’s not all—Doesn’t Have To Rhyme will be directed by the RZA, and will also feature Common and Jill Scott.
Watch Azealia in Heavy Metal And Reflective to get pumped for the flick, which starts filming in New York this month.
