Alana Blanchard has known she wanted to surf professionally since entering her first contest at 8 years old. She idolized Andy Irons, one of the first surfers out of her hometown, Kauai to become a national legend. Since then, Alana’s gone on to make a name for herself, winning numerous championship events in Hawaii and Spain, and looking good doing it. The best way to prepare for the upcoming U.S. Surf Open might just be to celebrate the girl surfers who are becoming the professionals they looked up to—here’s a different side of Alana, in a sexy photoshoot with Jessica Werthheim, reminding us that even if we don’t surf as career, we could take some beauty and fitness tips from the gal (which include cross training, running, and lots and lots of coconut oil).
