After North West and Blue Ivy killed it at NYFW, we knew that toddlers had become the ultimate it accessory, but what about baby bumps?! New life is cool and all, but we were not expecting that peas in the pod would ever feel at home on the runway and red carpet. However, since this Sunday’s Oscars, where Kiera Knightly rocked Valentino couture with a bump underneath and Alice Temperley’s runway show which featured not one, but TWO, pregnant models, we’ve noticed those tummies popping up everywhere. The mammas-to-be have that “glow” that you always hear about, You know, that one that can’t even be achieved with the most savvy bronzing technique. We especially love when a pregnant pup shows off the tummy in a body-con (OWN THAT STOMACH), because gawd knows pregnancy is the only excuse for having a pooch that won’t land you on People’s “Worst Weight Gains” list. Unfortunately, this is the one accessory that your sugar daddy can’t (SHOULDN’T) buy for you, but their exclusivity makes them all the more amazing (kind of like a Birkin bag). Now we just have to convince our boo Coco Rocha to walk the runway despite her strained stomach. Congrats to Hollywood’s new mommies, y’all look fab!
