Festival season is here and Tavik knows exactly what you need to survive it. Our fave Cali girl and Tavik’s woman’s designer, Carly Osler, is a Coachella professional! She rounded up 7 tips you NEED TO SURVIVE this weekend. Check them out, below!
1. Prepare your phone:
I always make sure there will be plenty of storage available on my phone for the entire weekend! This means dumping old photos and deleting any apps I don’t use. There needs to be plenty of space for new pictures. I also like using TAVIK’s FLETCH iPhone 2-in-1 case to hold my ID, credit cards and iPhone. Uploading the designated festival’s app for show times is also a must! Keeping your phone charged is important. I carry TAVIK’s FORMbackup battery bank for iPhone. It’s ultra-light and keeps my phone charged from day to night!
2. Always Pack Sunnies:
I pack a couple pairs of sunglasses just in case I lose a pair or want to change up my look! My favorite sunnies are from Wonderland.
3. Stock up on bikinis and rompers:
The Bianca Top with the Vine bottom is my favorite bikini set! A lot of TAVIK’s swimwear tops can be worn with shorts for an all day festival look. Rompers are a great choice for easy transitioning; whether it’s from day to night or pool-party to festival. I love TAVIK’s LUCA Romper.
4. Fun playlist for the drive or flight out:
I always include artists that are performing at the festival, my faves are Drake, Chet Faker, Flying Lotus, Toro Y Moi and Vance Joy.
5. Stay Healthy:
I make sure I’m well hydrated before the weekend starts. The Hydration Room is my go-to before a festival or any long weekend. They prepare your body with hydration and vitamins. I like to have a nice glow going into a festival weekend- preparing with the right sunless tanning products is key! I recently ordered Lara Bingle’s THE BASE tanning products and love them!
6. Have your Uber driver organized beforehand:
Make sure your account info is up to date! I also keep a list of the addresses I might need in my phone for easy access when ordering an Uber.
7. Plan a meeting spot for you and your friends on the festival grounds:
Pick a central location that you and your friends can plan to meet up, if someone wanders from the group.
